Project Officer

About the role As a Project Officer you will provide a range of project management and support services across various projects within Delivery Support team. This role will be responsible for coordinating resources and maintaining project documentation in particularly liaising with the Chief Education Officer and Principal Education Officer. The role will also be responsible for Support project planning, reporting, and scheduling of project activities to successfully deliver project outcomes. Develop and maintain project artefacts, registers, and communications. Deliver quality project outcomes and business benefits aligned with the project objectives. Identify and mitigate any forthcoming blockers and organise workstream meetings. Preparing slide decks under the guidance of the project manager. Benefits 35 hours working week. About you We are looking for candidates who have high interpersonal skills and can work in a dynamic environment with range of internal and external stakeholders. In addition to that it would be beneficial if you also have Experience with strategy, working with multidisciplinary teams and delivering to a high standard to meet Departmental needs. Proficiency in the use of high level of project management technology (like Asana, Certificate or higher qualification in project management will be favourable but not mandatory. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are a must, underlined by your ability to produce clear, concise reports and articulate information adeptly across different platforms. Deep understanding of project management principles, spanning from planning to execution and evaluation. Essential requirements of the role Working with Children Check for paid employment.
