About the Opportunity This role is integral to improving health outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities on the Central Coast. In this role you will: Coordinate and contribute to the development, implementation, and evaluation of culturally safe health promotion projects. Build and maintain partnerships with schools, community organisations, and key Aboriginal stakeholders. Support project officers and teams in delivering programs across multiple settings and local health districts. Provide cultural expertise to enhance cultural competency within the Health Promotion Service. Maintain accurate project documentation, reports, and resources to ensure timely and effective project evaluation. For more information about this role, please view the Position Description. About You We are looking for someone who: Is an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander person with strong connections to community. Holds relevant tertiary qualifications or has extensive experience in health promotion, social science, population health, or related fields. Demonstrates experience in project coordination, including planning, implementation, and monitoring. Understands health promotion principles and evidence, including priority areas such as healthy eating and active living. Exhibits strong communication, collaboration, and organisational skills, with the ability to engage effectively across diverse stakeholders.
