With a sizeable workforce supporting operations across multiple sites, the business is entering an exciting phase of modernisation within its finance function. As part of this evolution, they are seeking a Senior Accounts Payable Officer to join the team in a full‑time, on‑site capacity. The Role Reporting to the Group Accounts Payable Manager, this hands‑on role is responsible for ensuring accurate and efficient AP processing, reconciliation, and payment cycles. You will manage a daily volume of approximately 30–40 invoices, while supporting broader process improvement initiatives across the finance function. This position offers the chance to contribute to upcoming system enhancements, OCR improvements, and potential project work, making it an excellent opportunity for an AP professional seeking both stability and growth. Key Responsibilities Processing and coding invoices accurately and in a timely manner Ensuring appropriate approvals and matching documentation Preparing and reconciling payment runs Maintaining vendor accounts and resolving queries professionally Supporting AP process improvement initiatives Assisting with system optimisation and OCR workflow enhancements Collaborating with internal stakeholders to streamline AP processes Contributing to month‑end AP close and reporting activities This is a permanent, full-time, on‑site (5 days/week) position. Key Skills and Experience 4+ years’ experience in Accounts Payable, ideally in medium–large or multi‑entity environments Strong invoice processing, coding, matching, and reconciliation capability Experience managing vendor queries and maintaining clean ledgers Confidence using ERP systems and digital AP tools (OCR experience highly regarded) High level of accuracy, time management, and organisational skills Strong communication, problem‑solving, and stakeholder engagement abilities Ready to Apply?
