As an NDIS Career Mentor, you’ll empower individuals to reach their employment goals through personalised support and skill-building.You’ll work one-on-one with participants to set goals, build capacity, and deliver tailored training. Partnering with training providers and local employers, you’ll coordinate site visits, work experience, and job opportunities. This dynamic role combines office-based appointments with community engagement. You’ll also collaborate with stakeholders to attract new participants and grow your caseload. This position is based in the North Perth area and is expected to commence late November, early December. We are happy to consider full time, part time or casual working arrangements. The working hours will be scheduled between 8.30am and 5pm Monday to Friday. A full drivers licence is required along with a reliable vehicle with full comprehensive insurance. Key Responsibilities: Assess participants' skills, interests, and employment aspirations Develop individualized plans in line with participants goals Liaise with employers to identify suitable work experience orjob opportunities Maintain accurate records and documentation Collaborate with a variety ofstakeholders to attract customers to build the caseload Qualifications and experience: Certificate IVin employment services, career developmentor related field is an advantage Experience in working with people with disabilities in a similar role Ability to work independently Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational and time management skills Commitment to promoting diversity and inclusion Working with Children/Vulnerable people check NDIS Worker clearance Drivers license Why work with us?
