Marketing & Events Consultant

This position is located in Brookvale, Sydney Australia. We are searching for amazing people to join our team Reporting to the PADI Asia Pacific Senior Marketing Manager, the Marketing & Events Consultant plays a key role in planning and executing PADI Marketing Academies, dive exhibitions, and regional promotional initiatives. You’ll also work directly with PADI Members to provide strategic marketing consultation, helping them improve their online presence and customer engagement to encourage certification growth in the Asia Pacific market. What you will be doing: Coordinate, organise and deliver PADI Marketing Academies, dive exhibitions, seminars, and other marketing events in the Asia Pacific region. Manage logistics, budgets, and timelines for regional events, ensuring all brand standards and goals are met. Liaise with external partners, vendors, and venues to execute events efficiently and within budget. Collect and analyse event performance data, including attendance, engagement, leads, and post‑event feedback, and prepare reports with actionable recommendations for future events. Support PADI Members in implementing digital marketing strategies across channels including social media, search, email, and website optimisation. Conduct marketing consultations with PADI Members to assess their marketing activities and provide strategic advice on improving online visibility and customer engagement. Provide support in other areas such as PADI RTO social media and blog content, print advertising, and management of PADI‑branded promotional items including stock control, ordering, and ideation of new merchandise. Develop a broad marketing skillset and stay up to date with marketing trends in order to capably assist PADI Members in a range of marketing disciplines. Develop an understanding of dive and travel industry trends within the Asia Pacific region. Undertake travel across the Asia Pacific region to attend and support events and activities as required. To be successful in this role, you will need: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management or related discipline. Minimum 3 years’ experience in marketing, events, or communications roles. Generalist digital marketing skillset, including social media, SEO/SEM, online advertising and email marketing. Excellent organisational and project management skills. Confident communicator and presenter. Passion for travel, diving and the ocean environment. Additional languages such as Korean, Bahasa Malaysia or Bahasa Indonesia highly regarded. PADI diver certification preferred but not essential. Willingness and ability to work full time in our Asia Pacific Regional office based in Brookvale. Applicants must possess the permanent right to work in Australia. What’s on offer?
