Salesforce Software Engineer (PROJ-4604) Remote Canberra, Australian Capital Territory, Australia Job Description Remote is seeking Software Engineers to join the team at ASD, with experience overseeing software development activities, writing optimised code and providing technical leadership within development teams. The role is responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of software solutions. Working under the direction of a Senior Salesforce Developer, Salesforce Engineers will support the development and configuration of the Salesforce CRM, including implementing workflows and enhancements, while operating in an agile environment using Kanban and Scrum methodologies. (LH-05282) Technical Skills Extensive experience in customising and extending the Salesforce Platform using low‑code tools, and programming languages such as JavaScript and Apex. Experience in platform core technologies and web stack knowledge of Experience Cloud. 3>Essential Criteria The candidate should be in possession of current Salesforce certifications: Platform Administrator Platform App Builder Platform Developer Demonstrated experience with the administration, development, configuration and customisation of the Salesforce platform. Provides technical expertise to enable the configuration of system components and equipment for systems testing. Collaborates with technical teams to develop and agree system integration plans and report on progress. Ensures that integration test environments are correctly configured. Recommends and implements improvements to processes and tools. Demonstrated experience within the Salesforce Platform of the development and implementation of flows. Experience with Salesforce Apex development and Lightning Web Components (LWC). Designs, codes, verifies, tests, documents, amends and refactors complex programs/scripts and integration software services. Applies agreed standards and tools to achieve well‑engineered outcomes. Participates in reviews of own work and leads reviews of colleagues' work. Demonstrated ability to engage and work with Business areas to automate business processes within the Salesforce Platform. Models, simulates or prototypes the behaviour of proposed system components to enable approval by stakeholders. Reviews, verifies and improves own designs against specifications. Assesses and analyses release components for input to release scheduling. Maintains and administers tools and methods for software delivery, deployment and configuration. Maintains release processes and procedures. Deliver the outcomes following an agile software methodology. Desirable Criteria Ability to follow agreed procedures to identify and resolve issues with applications. Uses application management software and tools to collect agreed performance statistics. Carries out agreed applications maintenance tasks. Experience using Azure DevOps or JIRA to track and progress tasks to completion. Experience with Salesforce Service Cloud, Omnistudio and Service Cloud Voice.
