About the Role New South Wales Golf Club is seeking a friendly, organised, and professional Reception & Administration Assistant to join our team at La Perouse. This role is the first point of contact for Members, guests, and visitors to the Club and plays a key part in supporting the administration and communication functions across multiple departments. The position offers a varied mix of front-of-house reception, administrative support, membership coordination, and booking management. It’s ideal for someone who enjoys working in a professional environment, interacting with people, and taking pride in delivering excellent service. Occasional Saturday work may be required. Key Responsibilities Provide a professional, welcoming presence at the Club’s reception desk. Handle incoming calls, emails, and in-person enquiries efficiently and courteously. Assist Members and guests with general Club information, directions, and bookings. Support the Executive and Administration teams with day-to-day office duties. Manage correspondence, filing, records, and office supplies. Assist in preparing communications, reports, and documents when required. Assist with Members’ enquiries in a timely and professional manner. Maintain accurate and confidential membership records and correspondence. Support communication to Members regarding general Club matters and activities. Assist with processing member monthly accounts and charges. Assist with golf, dining, and event booking enquiries, ensuring accuracy and clear communication with relevant departments. Provide assistance with Club events and functions, assisting with bookings, lists, and confirmations. Maintain booking systems and provide reports as required. Build positive relationships with colleagues across departments including Golf Operations, F&B, Course and Administration. Ensure consistent communication and collaboration to support the Club’s overall service standards. Contribute to a welcoming and efficient workplace culture. To be successful in the role you have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a polished and professional manner. Strong organisational skills, time management, and attention to detail. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and comfortable learning new systems. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively in a team environment. A proactive approach with a commitment to providing outstanding service. Previous experience in reception, administration, or hospitality is preferred. Will need to be available to work a minimum of one Saturday in four. What we Offer Competitive salary package. Supportive and professional team environment.
