This “people first” business is now seeking an energetic, self-motivated, high performing National Key Account Manager to further build, grow and lead the multiple Key Accounts across Australia. There seriously is no better time to join. What will you do in an average week? As a key member of the Senior Management team, in this very high-profile role, you will be responsible for the growth, business development and management of the national Key Accounts across Australia. This will see you actively partner with the major buying groups and wholesale distributors across multiple industry sectors building strong, corporate relationships A high touch, face to face, strategic account and relationship management approach will be essential for this role, to ensure that all National Accounts (new and existing) will continue to see this organisation as their trusted and reliable “go to” supplier for all their customers “general workshop” and “refuelling equipment” services and product needs This role will see you continually driving sales growth by identifying new market opportunities and by further developing existing customer relationships. Well supported by Marketing, you will create and drive sales initiatives, be involved in new product launch campaigns as well as be executing targeted sales and marketing campaigns to enhance brand presence Representing the business and its products and services at trade shows and industry events will be a paramount, as will mentoring and working with the internal Business Development Managers in the metro and regional areas around the country Here’s what it will take Essential is proven success in acomparable Strategic National / Key Accounts and or Sales Management role . You will need to have a demonstrable track record in establishing and growing National Key Accounts and building strong corporate stakeholder relationships. An affinity with product and service solutions related to the “general workshop” and “refuelling equipment” categories is advantageous Deep exposure / experience working with the industrial and agricultural buying groups and / or large wholesale distributors . Those who have worked for / within these large buying groups and wholesalers will also be strongly considered You can travel interstate : you will set your rolling sales cycle Can 'hit the ground running.’ You have a hunger for sales and relationship management, and have that eagerness and relentless passion to do the “legwork” to make it all happen You take pride in your ability to build strong business relationships and the value that you add to your national accounts, and you are always looking for better ways to service them.
