ITALIAN Volunteer to Play Bricola with an Older Gentleman Do you speak Italian? Your time and friendship can brighten someone's day. We're seeking a male volunteer to visit an older gentleman living with dementia in South Morang. He'd love someone to chat with, and to play Briscola or Scopa with him. We're seeking a volunteer who is: Friendly, kind and willing to commit to improving someone's quality of life through regular visits. Comfortable interacting with people who experience the ups and downs that come with dementia and the ageing process. If this sounds like you, we'd love to discuss this opportunity further and answer your questions. We value our volunteers and will do all we can to ensure you love being part of our team. The Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme (ACVVS) is funded by the Australian Government and delivered by MS Plus. MS Plus is a child safe organisation with a Child Safety and Wellbeing Policy. Category : Seniors & Aged Care Commitment : Regular - more than 6 months Type Of Work : Companionship & Social Support, Seniors & Aged Care Time Required : Fortnightly 1-hour visits at a time that suits you.
