Quest Ivanhoe is a 58 room property located just 10km from Melbourne CBD, comprising of studio, one and two bedroom apartments. Quest Ivanhoe is newly renovated and has an exciting opportunity available for a Housekeeping Supervisor to join its team on a full time basis. The Role Quest Ivanhoe's housekeepers are highly valued members of our team, and key to ensuring positive experiences for our guests and the overall success of the business. This is a full-time position with shifts rostered across a 7-day work week. Must be available to work weekends. Maintenance skills are desirable, but not required. This role includes providing housekeeping services in apartments and common areas, as well as leading the housekeeping team and overseeing daily housekeeping operations to ensure rooms are cleaned to a high standard. The Ideal Candidate Will demonstrate a can-do, responsible, and flexible approach to work, excellent communication skills, a friendly customer service demeaner, a keen eye for detail, excellent organisational skills, discretion in guest interaction, and a strong appreciation for workplace safety. An ability to follow instructions and work quickly and efficiently to achieve individual and team goals is key. An important aspect of this role is being able to lead and manage the housekeeping team, including over the weekend when the property manager is not on-site. Previous leadership or management experience will be held in high regard. Prior experience in a cleaning or housekeeping role ideally in a business environment is essential, and qualifications and prior experience in the hospitality, travel or tourism industries would be highly regarded. The successful applicant must be available to work shifts, weekends and public holidays, and have entitlements to work in Australia.
