Overview Canterbury Institute of Management – Sydney CBD NSW Canterbury Institute of Management (CIM) is an accredited Institute of Higher Education offering undergraduate degrees in Information Systems, Accounting, Management, and Hospitality, Master’s programs in Project Management, Accounting, Information Systems, and Communication Technology and Research Program. CIM operates campuses in Sydney (NSW), Melbourne (VIC), and Darwin (NT). We are currently hiring Marketing Manager based in Sydney to support student recruitment activity catering to the onshore market through education agents based in NSW, Australia. This is a full-time role. Key Responsibilities Recruit international students into CIM’s undergraduate, postgraduate and research program. Achieve enrolment targets (KPIs) across Sydney campuses and support the growth of interstate campuses. Build and manage strong relationships with education agents. Coordinate with CIM’s marketing and admissions teams. Regularly visit agents and engage in events, seminars, expos Monitor market trends and competitor activity. Identify new recruitment opportunities and provide strategic reporting. Execute marketing campaigns and student outreach. Provide support to prospective students and their agents. Deliver presentations to students, agents, and stakeholders. Ensure compliance with the ESOS Act, National Code, and all legislative requirements. Carry out additional tasks as directed by Director of Marketing and Student Acquisition. Selection Criteria In-depth knowledge of international student recruitment Demonstrated success working with education agents and enrolling students in Higher Education. Strong understanding of the international education framework in Australia, including SSVF, visa processes, ESOS, and the National Code. Excellent communication, negotiation, IT, and marketing skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Proven ability to meet targets and convert leads to enrolments. Familiarity with local agent networks is highly desirable.
