Our Service headspace Centres act as a one-stop-shop for young people who need help with mental health, physical health, alcohol and other drugs and/or work and study support. The key principle of the Uplift program within headspace is a commitment to providing age appropriate, youth friendly services which are engaging and acceptable to young people and that are congruent with the stage of development of the individual. To achieve better health outcomes for young people seeking to access primary care, mental healthcare, alcohol and drug services and social, educational and vocational services. Support the delivery of mental health services across community and inpatient settings, within a clinical case management model, including biopsychosocial assessment, referral management, crisis management, and discharge planning in accordance with professional, ethical and National Mental Health standards, utilising significant clinical experience in the field of Mental Health. Requirements Must have one of the following: Full AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist, Nurse OR General or Provisional registration as a Psychologist/Clinical Psychologist OR AASW registration or eligibility as a Social Worker Ability to participate in a multidisciplinary team utilising high level communication skills to establish effective partnerships and provide consultation to the team as well as government and other non-government service providers. Must be able to provide direct clinical services including clinical case management, mental health assessment, planning and delivery within the context of a multidisciplinary environment Demonstrating a great level of profession specific knowledge, expertise and skill. Excellent verbal communication and writing skills Prior experience in mental health case management (desirable) Must be eligible to apply/currently hold a WWCC Must hold/be willing to apply for NDIS worker screening clearance Must have a driver’s license Stride is committed to the safeguarding of children and vulnerable people.
