Mental Health Clinician - Community Acute Intervention Service Outreach Team NURSE ONLY Employment Type: Permanent Full Time Hours per fortnight: 80 Job Category: Nursing - Registered Nurse (Div 1) Key Responsibilities: Conduct acute community assessments for consumers in crisis. Provide brief interventions for individuals in the acute phase of mental illness or AOD use. Follow up with consumers post-ED assessment, ensuring continuity of care. Work as part of a multidisciplinary, tertiary-level mental health and AOD team. Provide assessments, care planning, and therapeutic interventions. Collaborate across services to ensure seamless care for consumers. Join a supportive team focused on inclusion, hope, and community wellbeing. About the Role: This is a dynamic, 7-day‑a‑week service that provides brief, targeted interventions to individuals aged 16‑65 in crisis. The clinician will undertake Category B and C assessments and provide treatment for up to 28 days for those not currently engaged with community mental health services.
