About the Role As our National Construction Leader, you’ll drive consistency, performance and excellence across the delivery of commercial fit out projects Australia-wide. This is a strategic leadership role focused on enabling our construction teams, elevating capability and ensuring exceptional safety, quality and commercial outcomes across every state. You’ll oversee national trade and supplier performance, develop and mentor Site Managers, ensure compliance with WHS and building standards and drive continuous improvement across project governance and delivery. Collaborating with our national and state leaders, this role plays a pivotal part in delivering value to clients, partners and our internal teams. What You’ll Do Lead national construction standards and consistency across delivery, compliance, safety and quality. Coach and enable a high-performing team of Site and Project Managers across multiple states. Oversee national subcontractor and trade engagement strategies to ensure reliability and alignment. Champion compliance with NCC, WHS (ISO 45001) and environmental standards across all sites. Collaborate with senior leadership to drive strategic improvements in construction processes. Act as a key escalation point for construction-related incidents, investigations and risk mitigation. Provide early-phase value engineering and constructability advice to project teams. Monitor project health across states, ensuring milestones, scope and KPIs are met. Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, from internal teams to clients and contractors. Participate in national HSQE reviews, legislative updates and quality assurance initiatives. You’ll Be a Great Fit if You Have 10+ years in project and construction management, including 5+ years in leadership roles. Proven ability to lead and mentor delivery teams across multiple locations. Strong knowledge of NCC, WHS legislation, and fit out/interior construction practices. Experience overseeing trade partners, subcontractor engagement, and supplier contracts. Expertise in construction quality, safety and environmental systems (ISO 45001 / NCC / EMS). Commercial acumen and a background in value engineering and cost planning. Strategic thinking, stakeholder management and excellent communication skills. White Card and First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain). Qualifications in Project Management, Construction Management or related field.
