About BRAMS Broome Regional Aboriginal Medical Service (BRAMS) is an Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Service that has been delivering comprehensive, culturally safe primary health care to the Broome community for over 45 years. What you’ll learn and do Support clients with health checks, screening and follow‑ups Share health information in a clear and simple way Help people attend appointments and feel comfortable in the clinic Assist with wound care, immunisations and chronic disease support Take basic observations and record clear clinical notes Help run health promotion activities, yarning groups and community events Build strong relationships with clients, families and community About you Candidates for the position of Aboriginal Health Worker Trainee must address the following selection criteria: Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person. Experience with an Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Service. Understanding of the BRAMS Model of Care and Quality Care Framework. Understanding of why policies and procedures are important. Willingness to learn and develop new skills.Understanding of why policies and procedures matter Benefits In addition to a competitive salary of $65,000, we also offer: Salary sacrificing to maximise your earning potential.
