Community Mental Health Clinician We are seeking a motivated clinician with a strong interest in improving the mental health of children and young people to join the Northern Beaches Child and Youth Mental Health Service at Brookvale Community Health Centre. Employment Type : Permanent, Full Time Position Classification : Health Clinician Level 1/2 Hours Per Week : 38 Salary Per Week : Dependent on qualification (see scope below) Remuneration : Health Professionals Level 1/2: $1,463.51 - $2,087.89 per weekOccupational Therapist Level 1/2: $1,463.51 - $2,087.89 per weekPsychologist: $1,541.86 - $2,256.77 per weekRegistered Nurse: $1,424.28 - $1,999.64 per week Where You'll Be Working Brookvale Community Health Centre – Northern Beaches Child and Youth Mental Health Service What You'll Be Doing Provide client‑centred, recovery‑orientated, trauma‑informed care through individual, family‑based, parenting support and group therapy interventions. Work in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team and partner with other service providers. Participate in intake component on a pro‑rate basis. Receive professional development training and ongoing clinical supervision. Candidate Requirements Current AHPRA registration for relevant discipline – Psychology, Occupational Therapist, Registered Nurse – or eligibility for membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers. Experience working with vulnerable children, young people and families from a trauma‑informed, recovery‑oriented approach in a community mental health setting, including knowledge of relevant child protection and mental health legislation. Demonstrated knowledge and skills in assessment, formulation and treatment of infant, child and adolescent mental health problems and family relationship problems. Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a multi‑disciplinary team setting.
