Trucksmart is seeking an experienced and skilled Heavy Vehicle Foreman to join our team in Beresfield, NSW. As the Heavy Vehicle Foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing the Afternoon Shift operations of our heavy vehicle maintenance and repair workshop, ensuring efficient and high-quality service delivery. This is a full-time Monday to Friday position that offers a competitive salary and a range of benefits. What you'll be doing Supervising and coordinating a team of heavy vehicle mechanics and technicians to ensure timely and effective completion of maintenance and repair tasks Inspecting vehicles, diagnosing issues, and developing repair plans Prioritising and scheduling work to optimise workshop efficiency and meet customer deadlines Providing technical guidance and support to the maintenance team Ensuring compliance with all relevant safety and environmental regulations Maintaining accurate records of work completed and costs incurred Liaising with customers to provide updates on the status of their vehicles Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing changes as needed What we're looking for Minimum 5 years of experience as a Heavy Vehicle Foreman or Supervisor in the automotive industry Extensive knowledge of heavy vehicle maintenance and repair procedures, including diagnostic techniques and problem-solving skills Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team Excellent communication and customer service skills Proficient in using maintenance management software and other relevant tools Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology NSW Trade Licence HR / HC Licence Demonstrated commitment to workplace health and safety Australian citizenship is required for this position What we offer At Trucksmart, we are committed to providing our employees with a supportive and rewarding work environment.
