Drawing on your care experience, you will actively contribute to the delivery of engaging lifestyle opportunities aimed at meeting the diverse social, recreational, cultural, and spiritual needs of our residents.What’s on your CV is important, but what’s in your heart matters more. Because at St Vincent’s,**kindness works for us.** **This is a fixed term part time opportunity for 6 weeks with potential to extend. Ability to work Friday, Saturday and Sunday with 8 hours each day and 48 hours per fortnight.**Experience working as a carer AND in Leisure & Lifestyle in an aged care facility required.Ability to collaborate seamlessly with the pastoral care, care & clinical, and food services teams to create and implement meaningful engagement activities. Ability to leverage your experience in working with individuals living with dementia to bring valuable insights to our care approach.Capacity to infuse energy and enthusiasm into your role, fostering an environment that enables residents to actively participate in and enjoy meaningful activities.High level of customer service skillsStrong attention to detail and excellent communication skills Ability to follow directives as per care plan Understanding of Aged Care and resident rights and responsibilities NDIS Worker Screening Check may be a requirement of this role.
