Leisure and Lifestyle Officer - PPT St Vincent's Health Australia seeks a compassionate, person‑centred Lifestyle Officer to join our dedicated team at St Vincent’s Care Services Yennora (locally known as Rosary Village). The role is a fixed‑term, part‑time opportunity for 6 weeks with the potential to extend, requiring availability on Friday, Saturday and Sunday (8 hours each day, 48 hours per fortnight). Job Description As a Lifestyle Officer you will help create a welcoming, professional and supportive care experience for the residents. Drawing on your care experience, you will actively contribute to the delivery of engaging lifestyle opportunities aimed at meeting the diverse social, recreational, cultural, and spiritual needs of our residents. Qualifications Certificate III in Individual Support – essential. Leisure qualification highly regarded. Experience working as a carer AND in Leisure & Lifestyle in an aged care facility. Ability to collaborate with pastoral care, care & clinical, and food services teams to create and implement meaningful engagement activities. A commitment to person‑centred care, demonstrating a deep understanding and passion for enhancing residents' well‑being. Experience working with individuals living with dementia. Capacity to infuse energy and enthusiasm, fostering an environment that enables residents to actively participate in and enjoy meaningful activities. High level of customer service skills, strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills. Ability to follow directives as per care plan. Understanding of aged care and resident rights and responsibilities. Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (within the last 6 months). NDIS Worker Screening Check may be required.
