Leisure and Lifestyle - Leisure & Wellness Coordinator Uniting Riverwood, New South Wales, Australia Location: Peakhurst Employment type: Full-time, Monday – Friday 0900‑1700 Competitive pay and benefits: Competitive salary, up to $18,550 NFP salary packaging available. Responsibilities Provide care and companionship to residents while delivering innovative leisure and lifestyle activities tailored to each resident’s needs, interests and capabilities. Lead, guide and direct staff in the planning of the activity program, liaising with team members, residents and carers. Ensure all residents can participate in activities that interest them and meet desired outcomes. Confirm activity program details with the Manager, including participants, timetable and resources. Complete evaluation of activities, daily participation sheets and related paperwork to reflect continuous improvement. Develop activities that build on previous interests and current capabilities to enhance quality of life. Qualifications & Experience Certificate IV in Leisure & Lifestyle (or equivalent) or demonstrated competency for the role. Previous experience in aged/community care or a lifestyle programme in aged care is preferred; however, qualified candidates at the start of their careers are encouraged to apply.
