As the

Implementation Consultant,

Responsible for setup, provide training, configuration and customization of Hexagon ALI solutions and products, Works directly with client to manage initial access, map and transfer data, create process documentation, and train or coordinate training for client users. Tests and troubleshoots functionality of installed systems; identifies and documents technical issues to be escalated to product teams for resolution. Provides feedback based on client experiences to product and professional services teams for product and process improvements. May work directly with clients on-site or provide work remotely.

Responsibilities

Performs assignments that require the use and application of standard principles, theories, and concepts of a professional Engineering and IT discipline.

Conducts technical demonstrations and supports presales presentations and product demonstrations.

Conducts basic, advanced, administration and customised customer training

Provides solutions to highly complex customer application problems.

Provides advanced consulting services such as advanced software setup (workshare, etc), best practices implementation strategies, advanced automation/customisation and integration with other applications.

May act as the technical lead on project implementations providing technical direction and guidance to the team.

Identifies additional product/service opportunities in customer organisation that can be delivered.

May perform other reasonable and related duties as assigned.

Participate in projects at customer site or remote.

Give creative solutions.

Train and mentor others on the technical expertise

Engaged in documentation and procedures for legacy usage.

Local influence

Customer-oriented and solution-focused

Support the solution architect in understanding the customer need to provide customised solutions

Qualifications and Experience RequiredEssential

A degree or diploma in a related technical discipline (ie Computer Science, Information Technology, etc)

At least 5 years’ experience in a relevant industry and/or with similar technology in a technical support/consulting role

A minimum of 5 years of specialized technical experience related to specific company or competitors’ software and solutions.

Domestic and international travel is associated with this position – estimated at 25%. A valid passport required

Assignments may be at a customer site or field office

Skills and abilities

Employee is expected to have, or rapidly obtain, knowledge of Hexagon ALI products (SmartPlant Foundation and SDx) and procedures.

Potential to learn and acquire knowledge, skills and competencies.

Takes responsibility for the development of own knowledge and skills in relation to the business needs

Recent versions of the Microsoft Office software suite
