Brighter Futures Case Manager Location: Toronto Contract: Fixed-term Full-time until 31/03/2026 About the role We are currently looking for an energetic and experienced Case Manager to join our Brighter Futures team. This exciting position involves providing intensive case work for families with children, focusing on parental vulnerabilities and making quality improvements to family functioning. Brighter Futures aims to improve children’s wellbeing and prevent them from entering the OOHC system. Responsibilities Provide intensive case work for families with children. Support families in reducing parental vulnerability. Collaborate with DCJ and non-government service providers to preserve family structure. Strengthen family functioning while keeping children safe. Qualifications Tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Social Science or related field. Current Driver's Licence. Excellent knowledge, understanding and experience working with parents and children with complex needs where risk of significant harm has been assessed. Experience and highly developed skills in assessment, case planning and ongoing case management with vulnerable children and families. Experience in delivering evidence-based programs. Knowledge of child development and the impact of complex trauma on children and families. Knowledge of local referral and resource options. High level of planning, prioritising and organisational skills. Well-developed knowledge of culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) community needs and issues.
