Volunteer visits with elders in Carrum Downs Share your time and companionship during visits to elderly ladies and gents living in aged care facilities in Carrum Downs and surrounds. Your regular visits can make a real and positive difference in the life of these residents – reducing social isolation and improving well‑being. We ask volunteers to commit to a minimum weekly visit schedule for at least 6 months; however this is an ongoing role and we hope to support your friendship for as long as possible. Volunteers receive training, orientation, ongoing support, travel reimbursement and invitations to meetings together with other visiting volunteers.
