As the Principal Advisor, you will drive strategic and operational initiatives to monitor and enhance the performance of scheme insurers. This role will also see you contributing to the ongoing development of regulatory frameworks and engaging with insurers on licensing and compliance matters.Key Responsibilities Performance Monitoring & Compliance: Review and analyse insurer performance using risk-based frameworks, ensuring regulatory compliance and continuous improvement. Risk & Issues Management: Identify and research emerging risks and contentious issues, preparing licensing briefings and reports. Strategic Development: Contribute to the enhancement of regulatory strategies, operational policies, and process improvements. Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strategic relationships with internal and external stakeholders, communicating with influence and negotiating persuasively. Policy & Regulation: Provide expert advice on self-insurance and regulatory trends, representing WCRS in discussions with key stakeholders. Project & Resource Management: Lead and participate in projects related to self-insurance and regulatory compliance within budget constraints. Team & Culture: Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement within the team, upholding the values and vision of OIR.
