Position Profile The Board Assurance and Health Executive Service team provides ongoing governance and management of the Health Executive Service on behalf of the system manager in accordance with policy and the Health Services Act. The team is also responsible for supporting the Minister for Health in relation to recruitment and appointment of members to health service provider and a number of other statutory boards, as well as policy and assurance functions for health service provider boards. The team delivers these functions in a fast paced and collaborative team environment. Responsibilities The Senior Project Officer provides ongoing project coordination of the Health Executive Service. Should you be successful, on a daily basis you will exercise a range of skills – initiative, critical thinking, problem solving and superior communication – and operate with a reasonable level of autonomy. Supported by the Principal Policy and Project Officer and the Manager, you will be required to develop and maintain effective strategic networks and relationships with health service providers and within the Department of Health.
