About the Role The Senior Project Officer role is responsible for the management of key projects, communities of practice and key networks in family, domestic and sexual violence. This includes research, promotion, report writing, consultation, advocacy, delivery and review. Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders as well as meeting criteria and managing tasks to deliver quality project outcomes. The role is available on full‑time or part‑time (4 days pro‑rata) on a 12‑month contract, with a salary range at Level 6 of the SCHADS Award. Key Duties Managing multiple key projects, coordinating consultations, working with key partners, IT, administration, review and reporting in line with grant conditions and deadlines. Promoting, organising and facilitating the monthly communities of practice for perpetrator intervention practitioners. Maintaining key stakeholder networks and representing SFV by speaking and/or delivering education and training. Seeking out and applying for relevant grant applications that align with the mission and objectives of SFV. Preparing concise, impact‑oriented reports of activities and events, analysing key information and metrics to optimise current and future projects. Updating and developing content and raising awareness of SFV’s mission and the projects in line with project outcomes. Managing administrative tasks such as document and information distribution, report collation, communications support with internal and external stakeholders and providing updates on project status. Drafting and preparing correspondence, presentations, submissions and reports with high attention to detail and presentation. Organising project files and documentation with systematic attention to detail. About You You will be an engaging, self‑driven and enthusiastic individual, professional and highly adaptable. You will demonstrate exceptional capability to build relationships with key stakeholders and have a genuine interest and passion for projects that improve systemic responses to families focused on providing perpetrators with opportunities to create meaningful behaviour change. Selection Criteria Formal qualification and experience in social work, psychology, community services or family and domestic violence research. Experience in the family and domestic violence sector, preferably in the perpetrator intervention workforce or associated research area. Demonstrated performance within a team ensuring well‑planned and well‑executed projects. Understanding of the family and domestic violence sector (required) and a keen interest to develop and learn more. Willingness to work from the Victoria Park office and from various locations around Perth metropolitan and regional travel as part of the role.
