Inspired by Australia's great people and amazing foodie culture, Chobani USA purchased the Gippsland Dairy brand alongside Chobani, to form Chobani Australia in 2011. Flash forward 14 years and Chobani is Australia’s #1 yogurt brand, living in the hearts (and tummies) of fans across the country. At Chobani it’s always been about more than yogurt. Access to delicious and nutritious food should be a right, not a privilege, Chobani’s purpose as a leading food and drink manufacturer is to use their platforms, their resources and their influence to bridge that gap, to make a difference in the fight against food insecurity. The Opportunity We’re on the lookout for a passionate Operations Capability Coordinator to join our People & Culture team at our Hammond Road site. In this role, you’ll be right at the heart of how we build operational capability across our production and supply chain teams, shaping the systems, documentation, and training pathways that keep our people safe, skilled, and set up for success. This is a role where structure meets creativity. One moment you’ll be deep in developing new SOPs or translating them into clear, visual Work Instructions; the next you’ll be partnering with Shift Managers to validate frontline competency, supporting audit readiness, or preparing for MUD Days (Make up training days – 8 hours once a week) to deliver high-impact learning. You’ll work across the full training lifecycle from documentation and design to assessment and digital integration helping codify what “good” looks like and ensuring it’s consistently executed across the plant. You’ll collaborate closely with Ops, Supply Chain, Quality, Safety, and P&C to embed training that aligns with our business goals and supports our operational excellence journey. And with a growing focus on capability, continuous improvement, and compliance, you’ll play a key part in shaping the learning systems that drive our performance today and into the future. Please note that this role will require a finish time of 10:00pm for two days per month, to assist with training across various shifts. What you’ll bring to the table: 3–5+ years’ experience in a technical, quality, operational, or training role within food manufacturing or supply chain Strong capability in writing and maintaining SOPs, Work Instructions, and technical documentation aligned with audit requirements Practical understanding of instructional design and adult learning principles, including competency-based assessment and developing e‑learns Experience with training systems such as LMS, SharePoint, or workflow/assurance platforms (Team Assurance, Monday) Food safety knowledge — HACCP, GMP, CCPs, allergen management, and regulatory standards High attention to detail with strong technical writing skills and the ability to translate complex workflows into clear instructions Skilled collaborator who can work effectively with SMEs, Shift Managers, Ops, Quality, and Safety teams Strong communication skills and the ability to engage diverse audiences, from frontline operators to cross‑functional leaders A proactive, curious problem‑solver who enjoys improving processes and identifying capability gaps Bachelor’s degree or vocational qualification in a related field (e.g., Food Manufacturing, Dairy Science, Process Manufacturing, Plant Operations). Cert IV TAE or “train the trainer” credentials are a bonus (or willingness to obtain) This is your chance to make a real, measurable impact on how we operate. You’ll help build the foundations that drive safe, consistent, and high‑performing operations ensuring our people have the right knowledge, the right tools, and the right systems behind them. With increasing investment in capability, compliance, and continuous improvement, you’ll be joining a team that values innovation, clarity, and education done well. You’ll have autonomy in how you design training content, develop documentation, and implement assessment tools all while being supported by a collaborative team that wants you to succeed. From digitising processes and modernising learning pathways to helping shape how we deliver structured training during MUD Days, you’ll play a key role in elevating our capability framework. If you’re someone who loves bringing order to complexity, enjoys working across teams, and thrives when helping others learn and grow, this role offers a meaningful opportunity to contribute to a fast‑paced, values‑driven food business where your work truly matters. At Chobani, social responsibility is in our DNA and that means you will be joining an organisation that is constantly seeking to make a difference for the community, people, and planet. Chobani offer excellent benefits including Novated Leasing, well‑being reimbursement and internal programs, education assistance and a great reward and recognition program. #J-18808-Ljbffr
