Operations Coordinator

We are searching for an experienced Operations Co-ordinator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will report directly to the Operations Manager and be responsible for managing a range of day-to-day administrative duties in operations including the allocation of vehicles and staff. We require a person who can develop positive working relationships, has strong communication skills and excellent time management and organisational skills. Experience in the Liquid Waste Industry will be highly regarded however, not essential. This is an amazing opportunity that is not limited to an office background but also for a Senior Operator who is looking to take the next step in their career. This role involves a range of varied tasks and is largely autonomous therefore you will need to be able to manage your own time, multitask and make sound operational decisions unsupervised. The ideal candidate will be resilient, tenacious and have a strong business acumen. Key duties include but are not limited to: Provide customer service including answering incoming calls and enquiries Assist in the management of all day-to-day operational activities including fleet and driver allocation and rostering ensuring daily plans are delivered and customer service requirements are met Respond to emergency call out and schedule programmed works Coordinate a team of Drivers including delivering positive feedback and / or coaching conversations when required Provide assistance to the Operations Manager Liaise with other internal stakeholders with regards to plant specific operations and equipment Ensure SWMS are available Be available for the "On Call" rotating roster Skills and Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of administration experience Liquid Waste / Transportation Industry experience is desirable (but not essential) Ability to work with a variety of individuals / groups and build rapport Ability to work well under pressure Strong time management and prioritising skills Outstanding customer service and communication skills Patient attitude with excellent interpersonal skills and problem-solving abilities If you believe you are suited to this role, we would love to hear from you #J-18808-Ljbffr
