Overview Product Manager - Technical Engineering Software At ELEK Software (elek.com) we create beautifully designed software that is extremely easy to use for the booming electrical power industry. We have been delivering high-quality software (both cloud-based SaaS and PC-based) to our worldwide customers since 2009. We are busy developing new software products and features, and we need your product management skills. We have an excellent multi-disciplinary and distributed team of experienced engineers, PhD researchers, and professional software developers, and your work on product management will directly and immediately impact our multiple software products. Responsibilities Manage the end-to-end software development phases from concept through to final testing. Analyse business requirements and deliver new software projects. Provide simple software solutions to complex problems which help our customers. Participate in and contribute to project planning and road-mapping of features. Prioritise, organise and build what matters to the business. Work on both Scrum (iterative) or Waterfall (sequential) process-based software projects. Manage and organise projects and teams using tools like Asana, Jira, and Confluence. Provide direction and articulate a clear vision, strategy, scope, and success metrics to teams, and be prepared to roll up your sleeves when required Communicate with team members across different time zones to find the best solutions to difficult problems. Set team priorities and goals, track progress, and manage internal and customer expectations. Project reporting that gives good visibility to the team, management, and customers. Directly impacting strategic decisions of the business. Ensuring seamless project execution, efficiency, and quality through documenting learnings for continued growth. To innovate within the business and sphere of the product management role. Experience Demonstrated Product Management experience in cloud software products and driving agile development and releases. Shipping quality products that delivered high benefits for both business and for customers. Product management background or technical / analyst background, understanding the challenges of varying roles on the team. An analytical thinker - let metrics and facts influence your product prioritisation and strategy. Experienced in unbiased customer research. Collaborative approach: you can consider others' ideas, implement new methods, surface and resolve disagreements, and empathise with users.
