FULL-TIME PAINTER – DREAM HOME PAINTING PTY LTD Location : Tarneit, Victoria Salary : $77,000 per annum Employment Type : Permanent, Full-Time Dream Home Painting Pty Ltd is seeking a qualified and experienced Painter to join our professional team in Tarneit. We provide high-quality residential and commercial painting services and are looking for a reliable tradesperson committed to excellent workmanship and safety. KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Setting up scaffolding, ladders, and protective drop sheets to safeguard surrounding areas from paint splashes Preparing surfaces by removing old paint and wallpaper, repairing timberwork, filling holes and cracks, and sanding, smoothing, and sealing surfaces Mixing paints to required colours and consistencies using pigments, oils, thinners, and drying agents Applying paints, stains, varnishes, and coatings using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment Installing wallpaper, matching patterns accurately, and trimming edges neatly Cleaning and maintaining painting tools, equipment, and work areas Conducting minor repairs including fixing window frames and replacing glass in timber or metal frames Laying and repairing wall and floor tiles as required Ensuring all work is completed safely and in accordance with OH&S requirements and project specifications SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED Minimum of one (1) year of professional painting experience Strong understanding of surface preparation, paint application, and finishing techniques Ability to work independently and within a team High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Sound knowledge of OH&S requirements and safe work practices Qualification : Certificate III in Painting and Decorating or equivalent formal qualification ELIGIBILITY Priority will be given to Australian citizens and permanent residents All applicants must have valid work rights in Australia HOW TO APPLY Please submit your resume and cover letter through the job platform, only shortlisted candidates will be contacted. #J-18808-Ljbffr
