The Accounts Payable Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the accounts payable function, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, expense reimbursements, corporate card processing, and payments. Classification : FRV5 Salary : $99, $111, plus superannuation Reference No : AM Department : Finance About the Role This role supports financial integrity, enforces internal controls, and manages vendor relationships while contributing to strategic initiatives and team development. Key Accountabilities Supervising the accounts payable team, providing guidance, training, and performance management Overseeing the end-to-end AP process, including invoice verification, coding, approvals, payment runs and support month-end and year-end closing activities Ensuring compliance with FRV policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements and assisting with audits and implementing corrective actions as needed Monitoring and reconciling AP ledger accounts, resolving discrepancies, ensuring accuracy and preparing AP-related reports and metrics for management review About You Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Solid experience in an accounts payable role in a large organisation Supervisory experience Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills High attention to detail and an ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong understanding of automation of AP processes, accounting principles, and compliance standards How to Apply Applications must include a cover letter (including the reference number) and resume addressing the qualifications and work experience criteria listed in the Capability Profile section of the Position Description.
