Join the Spotlight Retail Group (SRG) as an Accounts Payable Supervisor and help drive the backbone of our end‑to‑end AP process within one of Australia’s largest family‑owned retail businesses. What You Will Be Doing The Accounts Payable Supervisor will lead, govern, and oversee the AP team to process supplier invoices and payments accurately and on time. Lead & mentor the AP team, driving performance and development. Oversee the full AP cycle (intake, coding, PO matching, approvals, payments) and monitor key KPIs. Own payment cycles, conduct second‑level checks, and mitigate risks such as fraud and duplicate payments. Champion continuous improvement, automation, and represent the team in system projects (UAT, upgrades). Ensure compliance with audit requirements, support month‑end/year‑end close, and produce KPI dashboards and variance analyses for management. What You’ll Bring to the Team Significant AP experience, having led senior staff and managed a large, high‑volume AP function. Strong knowledge of large ERP systems, preferably SAP. Deep understanding of end‑to‑end AP workflows and robust controls. Proven problem‑solving skills to resolve complex systemic AP issues.Excellent communication and stakeholder management across Merchandise, Operations, Treasury, and Finance. Ability to analyse and summarise large data sets for management reporting. Highly Desirable Attributes Experience with system upgrades or automation projects. Intermediate‑to‑advanced Excel skills.
