Storeperson & Purchasing Officer

We now have an opportunity available for a Storeperson/Purchasing Officer to join our team in Broadmeadow. In this role you will support the day-to-day operation of the warehouse and purchasing function, ensuring the right parts and materials are on hand to keep our customers and workshop moving. Your responsibilities in this role will include: Receiving, checking and processing incoming goods, ensuring accuracy against purchase orders. Picking, packing and dispatching customer and workshop orders in a timely and efficient manner. Maintaining warehouse stock levels, carrying out regular stocktakes and cycle counts. Raising purchase orders, sourcing materials and liaising with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery. Updating and maintaining data in the ERP system, including stock, pricing and purchase records. Keeping the store area safe, organised and compliant with Meadow Industries’ WHS and housekeeping standards. A robust focus on work, health and safety through our “Home Safely Every day” program. About You Experience working as a Storeperson within a warehousing environment. Purchasing experience. A working knowledge of warehouse practices. Sound computer literacy in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ERP systems experience. Able to work well autonomously and within a team with a positive ‘can do’ attitude. Strong attention to detail, effective communication, and time management skills. Valid Driver’s Licence and Forklift ticket.
