Our property has 225 rooms of varying styles, 4 restaurants, pool side bars, tour desk, Resort Shop and Day Spa. We are currently seeking to appoint a Human Resources Coordinator to join our resort based HR team. This is a generalist role with a large focus on recruitment and training, and forms part of a team of 4providing Human Resources support for a workforce of up to 300. Duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: End-to-end recruitment, including periods of high volume recruitment; Providing consistent and accurate advice to staff on award interpretation, workplace legislation and Resort policies and procedures; Coordination and presentation of Resort Orientation on a regular basis; Coordination of training with RTO's and maintaining training related records; Assist with managing the seasonal worker program, including pastoral care for our workers; Monitoring and reporting relating to all Apprentices and Interns; Assisting as required with other department projects Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, the successful candidate will demonstrate the following experience and skills: Previous experience in a similar role within a busy HR department; Previous experience in Hospitality, including a sound understanding of the HIGA, will be an advantage; Intermediate level skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point; Strong attention to detail, interpersonal and communication skills; A confident and discreet manner in order to appropriately manage sensitive information What’s on offer: Competitive industry salary Great working conditions Discounts for all resort facilities Cable Beach Club Resort is one of Australia's most highly-awarded resort holiday destinations, offering superb career opportunities in the hospitality industry for staff that are committed to the pursuit of excellence.
