The role of an Audio-Visual Installer is to expertly install, configure, and maintain audio-visual systems to ensure optimal performance and user satisfaction. This includes working with a variety of equipment, such as projectors, screens, sound systems, and video conferencing tools, to create seamless audio-visual experiences in diverse environments, from corporate offices to educational institutions. Install, configure, and test a variety of audio-visual equipment, including display setups, screens, sound systems, video conferencing tools, and control systems in various settings. Provide on-site and remote technical support, ensuring all systems operate smoothly and addressing any issues that arise promptly. Collaborate with other IT and AV professionals to integrate audio-visual systems with existing infrastructure and technologies. Maintain accurate records of installations, configurations, and any modifications made to systems, along with user manuals and operational guidelines. Ensure all installations comply with industry standards and safety regulations, maintaining a safe working environment throughout the installation process. What you’ll bring? 3+ years experience as an Audio Visual Installer or similar role. Must have an Open Cable license and Full Driver's license - an A-Grade electrical license is highly desirable but not required. Previous experience with data installation and running cables. Solid knowledge of audio-visual equipment and excellent problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and physically fit. What else do you need to apply? Travel on-site to our office in Alexandria and client sites around Sydney. Must be an Australian resident available to work full time without restrictions Compnow will provide and require all successful applicants to complete a current National Police Check as well as a new or updated state-based Working With Children Check.
