Job Title School Officer – Department of Education, Western Australia Overview Permanent part‑time (0.6 FTE) position commencing Term 2, 2026 at Kambalda Primary School, a small regional school located approximately 631 km north‑east of Perth and 58 km south of Kalgoorlie‑Boulder. The Role Undertake reception duties: greeting visitors, answering phones and responding to routine inquiries and requests for information. Distribute and collect documents, forms and mail; collect and receive monies. Operate and maintain office equipment, input data and generate reports. Arrange catering for school functions and assist with maintenance of school facilities. Support student‑related activities such as maintaining attendance records and assisting with enrolment procedures. Qualifications & Requirements Strong attention to detail and ability to work well within a team. Strong organisational skills and ability to deliver outcomes while working to deadlines in a sometimes challenging and fast‑paced environment. Experience in providing general office administrative support with ability to organise and prioritise tasks effectively. Proficiency with computers and a range of application software packages, particularly databases, spreadsheets and word processing. Good verbal and written communication skills, including application of customer service principles and practices. Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment.
