The Opportunity As General Manager – Engineering Division , you will: Lead all aspects of the division including safety, operations, production, sales, and financial performance. Drive strategic growth while ensuring operational excellence and profitability. Oversee a highly skilled team of engineers, supervisors, and tradespeople with a focus on developing talent and fostering accountability. Champion a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement. Partner with the Managing Director and leadership team to execute divisional strategy, budgets, and long‑term plans. Strengthen client relationships and identify new business opportunities in key markets. Ensure robust systems are in place for project delivery, scheduling, cost control, and performance reporting. What We’re Looking For Proven experience leading an engineering, manufacturing, or industrial division with full P&L accountability. Strong financial acumen and the ability to translate operational data into business decisions. A hands‑on, people‑first leader who builds capability and inspires performance. Deep understanding of engineering or manufacturing workflows, safety systems, and quality processes. Strategic mindset balanced with operational discipline — able to execute plans, not just write them. Strong communication and influencing skills with a track record of cross‑functional collaboration. What Success Looks Like A profitable, safe, and efficient division operating at industry best practice. Consistent delivery of projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
