About the OPPORTUNITY We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join our Maritime division based at based in Adelaide or Melbourne. We embrace flexible work arrangements at BAE Systems Australia, such as working a 9-day fortnight. Key responsibilities include: Assist in the development and management of the associated scope of work schedule, cost and quality outcomes for the project tasking statement. Assist in development of the Project approach to achieve the outcomes of the project tasking statement. Support development and revision of Project plans to meet the objectives of the Project. Participate in risk and opportunity assessments associated with the project tasking statement. Support develop monthly project reports including summarised progress, schedule, EVM and R&O data Support the monthly drumbeat cycle of project schedule progress, R&O reviews and EAC updates Exhibit leadership, communication and negotiation skills and have the ability to engage with and influence individuals across the CSI-IPT. About YOU Degree qualified (Science, Engineering or Business). Post graduate qualification in Project Management (desirable). Project Management Certification through AIPM or equivalent institution (desirable). Minimum of 5 years of dedicated project management experience, with a strong preference for a background in Defence projects. Proven expertise in project planning, scheduling, and Earned Value Management (EVM). Demonstrated skill in effective liaison with both internal and external customers. Demonstrated capacity to thrive in an autonomous role, taking responsibility for your projects and driving them forward to achieve key business results.
