Role Overview: As an Operations Manager at IMS Australia , you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day business operations, ensuring project efficiency, and leading teams to deliver high-quality results. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires strategic planning, workforce management, and a strong commitment to safety and compliance . Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency, productivity, and adherence to safety and quality standards . Manage mobile and fixed plant maintenance projects , ensuring timely execution and cost control. Develop and implement operational strategies and business improvements aligned with company goals. Lead and mentor teams, fostering a high-performance work culture. Ensure compliance with Australian safety regulations, industry standards, and IMS Australia policies . Maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders , ensuring seamless project delivery. Work closely with senior management to optimise resource allocation, budgeting, and workforce planning . Identify operational risks and implement proactive solutions to improve performance. About You: Proven experience in operations management, preferably in mining, maintenance, or industrial services . Strong leadership and team management skills, with a focus on safety and quality . Experience overseeing mobile and fixed plant maintenance projects is highly desirable. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure . Ability to develop and implement operational strategies that drive efficiency and profitability . Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
