ASCO's core business is providing materials management and logistics services to the Oil & Gas industry. In Western Australia we service our clients through the provision of Supply Base and associated materials management services & logistics services as well as both fixed and mobile camp services. An exciting opportunity exists for a dynamic, highly motivated, experienced and proactive Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations, service delivery, and operational performance of our Perth Supply Base and Dongara Supply Base. This role is pivotal in ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality operations that meet client, regulatory and commercial expectations. Based in Welshpool and reporting to the Managing Director, the ideal candidate will have strong leadership capability, a solutions-focused mindset, and extensive experience in logistics, supply base operations, transport, or industrial services. What your role at ASCO will look like: Lead and manage operational teams across both supply base locations Coach and mentor staff to work as per ASCO's Values, Obsessions and Code of Conduct Oversee daily logistics, planning, vessel and freight movements, and operational scheduling. Ensure full compliance with WHS, environmental, and industry regulatory requirements. Drive continuous improvement, cost efficiency, and operational excellence initiatives. Maintain strong client relationships and ensure service delivery meets all contractual expectations. Manage workforce planning, resourcing, performance management, and training requirements. P&L responsibility. Monitor and report on operational and contractual KPIs. Coordinate with commercial, HSE, HR, and senior leadership teams to support business goals. Represent the company in operational meetings, audits, and client engagements.
