An exciting opportunity exists for a highly motivated Customer Service Leader to join our Cargo Team to provide our client airline customers with the best possible experience, based at Melbourne Airport. What you’ll be doing Responsible for rostering of customer service staff Assist in the recruitment of new staff, probationary reviews and monitor progress of new staff Responsible for the control, supervision and training of designated staff Demonstrate leadership, decision‑making and organisational skills necessary to efficiently meet performance requirements Ensure that productivity is met in the designated area of responsibility Accept and release valuable cargo manually from customer service Oversee and Supervise the Customer Service, Tracing & ULD for the Cargo Department Managing and troubleshooting customs clearance issues through the use of IC‑S Process documentation Assist in resolving day‑to‑day customer service issues Receive incoming calls and make outgoing calls to agents and consignees Oversee Quarantine Inspections What we need from you Excellent phone manner Strong verbal and written communication skills Proven accuracy for data entry and attention to detail Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office products, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook Ability to work in a team or autonomously Ability to meet strict deadlines Diversity Menzies Aviation are a committed equal‑opportunity employer and encourage applications for suitably qualified and eligible applicants regardless of sex, race, disability, age, sexual orientation, gender reassignment, religion or belief, marital status, pregnancy and maternity.
