About the role UGL Transport Major Projects division is seeking a Senior Estimator to join the team in Melbourne and be part of mission‑critical infrastructure projects. Manage the estimating process, contributing to and bringing together pricing, documentation, and stakeholders/consultants, vendors and partners. Take the lead estimating role when required and manage and mentor supporting estimators. Coordinate & manage estimate inputs from proposal stakeholders, internal & external SMEs, vendors, subcontractors, designers, consultants, etc. Ensure the tender process including estimate reviews in the UGL Way is correctly followed and, when requested, conduct peer reviews on estimates. About you Tertiary degree qualification to Bachelor status in Engineering. Experience across critical infrastructure projects such as data centres, rail, road, tunnels and/or building services projects. Strong negotiation and influencing skills and the ability to establish effective working relationships with a variety of people at different levels both internally and externally. Minimum 5 years’ experience in a lead or senior estimating role for mechanical/electrical scope; ideally within an engineering/project management/infrastructure environment.
