Senior SQL DBA- 12 month contract- Major Bank A major bank is seeking a Senior SQL DBA to join their team on an initial 12 month contract. 2 days a week in the office. This is a Level 3 / consulting role. A deep understanding of the Microsoft Technology stack is required to deliver the banks SQL-server Database Platform Service. Responsibilities Senior DBA required to interface with the end-user community and upper management. Participate in enterprise-level critical systems operational support, SQL projects and consultancy to provide database solutions and services to the business, application, and peer technical teams. Configuration and administration of SQL server components (SSDB, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS). Database Service performance reporting. Provide advanced database support and mentoring to Level-1/2 DBAs. Database Scripting and Automation. After hour on-call support on major incidents. Key Skills / Experience Demonstrable advanced experiences with MSSQL2008/2012/2014/2016/2019/2022 Enterprise level L3 support in large complex environments Thorough hands-on experience with High Availability deployment of SSDB, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS and ongoing performance optimisation Extensive experience in Troubleshooting, Problem solving, and Process SimplificationAutomation using DevOps tools (e.g., bitbucket, terraform etc)Power BIFinancial Services If interested please respond ASAP with your latest resume. #J-18808-Ljbffr
