What You'll Own This isn't a role where you simply manage timelines and take meeting notes. As a Senior Account Manager at Welcome, you'll be the strategic conductor behind some of Australia's most ambitious brand transformations. You'll lead client relationships from pitch to post-launch, developing comprehensive strategies that span brand positioning, creative campaigns, digital platforms, social ecosystems, and beyond. Your days might look like this: workshopping a brand repositioning strategy with an automotive brand in the morning, presenting a multi‑channel campaign roadmap to a health & beauty client after lunch, then collaborating with our creative, design, and tech teams to bring a new e‑commerce experience to life for jewellery brands in the afternoon. You'll navigate the full spectrum of our capabilities—strategy, brand, creative, content, marketing, technology—ensuring every touchpoint ladders back to measurable business impact. You won't just manage projects; you'll shape them. You'll identify opportunities clients haven't articulated, challenge briefs that need challenging, and champion solutions that push boundaries while staying grounded in commercial reality. What You'll Bring You've spent years in agency environments, or similar, understanding how great work actually gets made. You know the difference between a brief that inspires and one that constrains. You can articulate strategy in ways that excite clients and galvanise internal teams. You've managed complex projects across multiple disciplines—brand development, campaign execution, digital platforms, social strategy, content production—and you understand how these pieces interconnect. Most importantly, you're commercially savvy. You recognise that beautiful work means nothing if it doesn't deliver results, and you're skilled at building the business cases that justify ambitious creative. You can read a room, navigate stakeholder dynamics, and advocate for the right solution even when it's not the easiest path. 5+ years in agency account management, ideally at senior level, or similar environment Proven track record developing and implementing integrated brand and marketing solutions Deep familiarity with the full service agency model—from brand strategy through to campaign execution and digital delivery Demonstrated ability to work with cross‑functional teams (creative, design, tech, content) toward unified outcomes Strong presentation and client communication skills with experience managing senior stakeholders Commercial acumen and the ability to balance creative ambition with budget realities Why Welcome Real growth trajectory: We promote from within and actively invest in developing our people.
