Residential Manager – Maroubra | Kildare Southern Cross Care (NSW & ACT) invites you to apply for the role of Residential Manager, overseeing our Maroubra team in delivering exceptional, person-centred care to older people. Full‑time | 6‑month contract | 76 hrs/fortnight | Monday–Friday. What You’ll Do Lead and inspire a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, compassionate, person‑centred care. Oversee daily operations, ensuring smooth, efficient, and compliant service delivery across the home. Manage clinical care standards, ensuring care plans are accurate, regularly reviewed, and aligned with residents’ individual needs. Foster resident wellbeing through vibrant lifestyle, nutrition and wellness programs that enrich daily life. Build strong relationships with residents, families and healthcare professionals to promote trust and satisfaction. Drive quality and compliance, leading audits, continuous improvement initiatives and risk management activities. Support your team’s growth through coaching, performance development and workforce planning. Oversee budgets and resource allocation, ensuring cost‑effective operations while maintaining exceptional standards of care. Champion safety and wellbeing, promoting WHS compliance and a proactive safety culture. Represent the home in community and regulatory forums, showcasing your commitment to excellence and resident care. Requirements Registered Nurse with extensive aged‑care and AN‑ACC experience, currently managing a facility or ready to take the next leadership step. In Addition, You Will Have A motivational leadership style with the ability to build a collaborative team environment. Experience managing a 24/7 roster and workforce planning. Proficient numeracy skills – reconciliations, reporting and budgeting. Sensitivity to and understanding of the aspirations and needs of older people, with the ability to connect with them, their families and the local community. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proven experience of stakeholder management at all levels.
