Join the team behind Tasmania’s most recognised seafood destination. Mures Tasmania is looking for a hands‑on, proactive Back of House (BOH) Manager to take ownership of our behind‑the‑scenes operations at Victoria Dock. Reporting to the Lower Deck General Manager, you’ll lead a small team and coordinate all activities required to support the daily running of our busy hospitality venue – ensuring exceptional standards are maintained across all areas of responsibility. This is a dynamic, fast‑paced role where every day is different. You’ll need to identify key priorities, delegate tasks, and adapt to operational needs as they arise. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the receipt of deliveries, ensuring products are stored appropriately. Ensure accurate and efficient recording of all received goods and stock movement using applicable software. Coordinate daily and deep cleaning schedules across restaurants and communal areas. Manage chemical storage and use in line with WHS and control procedures. Organise and oversee rubbish, recycling, and laundry services. Action maintenance tasks and liaise with contractors where required. Roster and lead the BOH team, ensuring daily tasks are effectively delegated and completed. Order packaging, chemicals, and ad hoc items as needed. Monitor and adjust stock par levels of all ordered products as required and complete monthly stocktakes. To manage the BOH team to ensure efficiency, productivity and effective control of labour costs. Ensure all other controllable costs within the department are in line with budgetary requirements. Skills & Experience: Excellent organisational and time‑management skills. High attention to detail and ability to prioritise under pressure. A flexible, self‑motivated approach and strong team leadership skills. Clear and professional communication across all levels. Previous experience in a similar operational, facilities, or BOH management role is desirable but not essential. Further Information: Full‑time position: 5 days per week (weekend work is required). Early morning starts from 6:00 am. Occasional out of hours work will be required to lead overnight cleaning. Based at Mures Tasmania, Victoria Dock. #J-18808-Ljbffr
