About the Role As a BI Systems Analyst, you will be central to the design and implementation of a new data analytics and reporting platform for the Road Safety Systems Program. You will work with stakeholders to assess and define system requirements, design business processes, and deliver training to end users. Your role will evolve as the platform develops, moving into hands‑on data analytics and embedding the new platform across the business. Responsibilities Analyse and document data analytics, data warehousing, and reporting requirements with business and technical stakeholders Design and document business processes for analytics and reporting services Conduct workshops and provide training on BI tools such as Tableau and Power BI Build dashboards and reports to support data visualisation needs Collaborate with the Project Manager and Solution/Data Architects on platform design and implementation Support the transition to the new platform and build business capability Skills & Experience Strong experience in requirements gathering, business process design, and documentation Proficiency in using BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, and Splunk for data visualisation Experience working with databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, Postgres, AWS Analytics, and Azure Synapse Ability to run training sessions and support end‑user adoption of BI tools Familiarity with cloud‑based data environments and analytics tools Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Experience with geospatial data and public sector projects is highly desirable Knowledge of Agile and hybrid project delivery approaches is a plus This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a significant project that will shape the future of road safety analytics.
