Axiom, a global leader in alternative legal services, is working with a globally recognized life sciences company seeking a Compliance Manager to join their Melbourne team on an interim basis. This is an excellent opportunity to explore working with a leader in the pharmacutical and medical device space and establish a meaningful career in healthcare compliance. Responsibilities Assist with the development and monitoring of a multi-faceted compliance and risk assessment program. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure risks and identified issues are handled timely and effectively. Support various business functions in designing monitoring programs and compliance processes and procedures to lesson risk. Deliver healthcare compliance training across the organizaiton. Support on day to day management of compliance and governance committees. Requirements 5+ years of relevant prior pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry experience or other experience in highly regulated industries, including extensive professional experience advising compliance issues compliance mandates. Bachelor’s degree required. Advanced degree or other similar certification preferred. Legal qualifications and legal practicing certificate are not required but may be favourable. Experience with conducting healthcare compliance monitoring, risk assessments and third-party due diligence. In-depth understanding of business objectives and how those translate into healthcare compliance priorities to deliver advice and guidance to the business. Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills and the ability to work effectively in a global organization with multiple functions. Must have full Australian working rights and be eligible to practice in Australia. Ability to work on-site in Melbourne 3 days per week. Why Join Axiom?
