On-site Posted 1 day ago We are seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial Finance Manager to join a leading manufacturing organisation, located predominately in Sunshine and Tullamarine. This role focuses on providing financial leadership and strategic insight to support the business's decision-making processes. This role will be full-time on-site, with one day in Dandenong required per week. This is an opportunity to join a well-established family owned large organisation within the manufacturing industry, who pride themselves on manufacturing a fast, efficient, and high quality product for their customers. The company has a strong market presence and is looking for a Commercial Finance manager to continue to take the business forward. This role will be on-site but offer flexibility on start and finish times. Description Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes for manufacturing operations, including analytical reviews to support business planning and decision-making. Hands‑on involvement in end‑of‑month financial processes, including reporting. Prepare, coordinate and communicate quarterly customer pricing updates to Customers & Sales team. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify and implement cost‑saving initiatives. Analyse customer forecasts, historical costs, and market factors to inform pricing decisions. Oversee the preparation of all accounting operations and prepare reports for stakeholders, including the board. Leadership and guidance of a team of 3 accounting staff. Support onboarding, training, and ongoing development to build capability and maintain a motivated workforce. Profile A successful Commercial Finance Manager will be able to demonstrate: A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional qualifications such as CPA or CA. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. High‑level communication skills, to all levels of stakeholder. Proficiency in Netsuite. Strong Excel skills are required, and proficiency in PowerBi is highly desired. Commercial finance experience in the manufacturing industry. Job Offer Salary range of $150,000 - $160,000 plus superannuation, pending experience. Permanent position located across Tullamarine, Sunshine, and Dandenong sites. Early start times available.
