An outstanding opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Senior Contracts Administrator who is seeking a long career with one of Australia’s leading builders and hopes to be promoted to Contracts Manager within 3 years. We are extremely busy on numerous prestigious projects in the Sydney CBD and Western Sydney valued between $100M - $1B. The successful candidate will report to the Project Manager and will be responsible for managing, coordinating, reporting on, and advising on the commercial aspects of a major data centre project in Western Sydney, while ensuring effective and consistent administration of all project contractual relationships. This role will also involve advising and instructing the project team on compliance with commercial requirements set out in the head contract, subcontracts, consultant and supply agreements, quality management systems, policies, guidelines and project specific procedures. Responsibilities Manage, coordinate, report on, and advise on the commercial aspects of the project contracts. Advise and instruct the project team on compliance with commercial requirements in contracts, quality systems, policies and procedures. Qualifications Relevant degree and 5 years’ experience in the Sydney building sector. Ideally have a Quantity Surveying background. Extensive experience managing head and subcontracts on large-scale projects, preferably in CBD locations. Be quality focused and have the ability to assess risk. Demonstrated longevity with past employers and exemplary references.
